Commissions Inc Vs. Ylopo: Price, Features & What’s Best 2024

Written By - Robert Newman, Inbound REM

As a real estate professional deciding what real estate lead generation system/software is going to work best for YOUR business can be tedious and overwhelming. There are numerous real estate lead generation systems on the market but THIS article will be a comparison of pricing and features between Ylopo and Commissions Inc so you can decide which is better for you.

Difference Between Commissions Inc and Ylopo

While Commissions Inc and Ylopo are both real estate lead generation systems that is where the similarities end. Commissions Inc is an ALL IN ONE website, CRM platform that has focused heavily on the lead nurturing process and team integration. Ylopo is NOT a CRM. Ylopo focuses 100% on digital marketing and are leaders in the space using re-marketing and an AI assistant called Ylopo AI (formerly rAIya) for follow up. Ylopo integrates with many of the top CRM’s including Follow up boss, Lion Desk, Firepoint, Chime and Sierra Interactive.  They also have a unique to them client success group with 5000 members that are continuously educated new used and inspiring veteran agents to do more with the Ylopo marketing system.

When to use Commissions Inc

Commissions Incs CRM has “best in class” built in lead distribution and agent assignment filters. Put simply it is a very good system if you’re a medium sized or large team. It’s NOT best in class for lead nurturing though it has features that does this. You should consider this system if your team is well trained and highly pro-active with making phone calls and texting generated leads AND LOGGING THAT ACTIVITY.

When to use Ylopo

Ylopo excels at nurturing existing databases and creating new ones. We believe our system is a good addition for agents and teams of all sizes. We use Follow Up Boss as our CRM partner which does a better job at the integration of MULTIPLE lead sources than any other available CRM. This makes our solution a great ADDITION for any individual or team looking to generate more leads for a lower cost than most systems (we believe we have the lowest cost of acquisition in the entire real estate industry but haven’t done the hard fact seeking to prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt). Ylopo has the best FREE training resources of any real estate lead generation company in the form of our Ylopo success community

Is Commissions Inc or Ylopo Best for you?

This CAN be a complicated question. So we will focus on the AIM of each of these systems and hopefully you can decide which real estate lead generation companies customer mission best matches with your own.

If You’re an Agent

Commission Inc was MADE with the intention of servicing teams. At the time this company built it’s core offering of an all-in-one system there where few competitors in the space. It might be fair to say Commissions Inc was the first to focus on team management features built directly into their CRM. Only in the last few years have they added a version of the platform focused on agents and it’s the SAME platform with some team features removed. For that agent version you will pay 300-1000% more than other comparable CRMS. If you’ve already been trained on CINC then that investment might be worth it. Anyone else not so much.

Ylopo is designed as an expandable lead generation system with it’s starter packages aimed specifically at the newer/uncertain agent. Pricing for these packages is one of the lowest starting points available from any real estate marketing company. There are add ons that do raise the investment but even if you opted for all of these simultaneously you would still be investing LESS and getting marketing included which Commissions Inc does not provide without additional budget above and beyond the system cost.

If you’re a Team/Broker

Commissions Inc has strong team management features built into the system. To get an in depth look at the available filters and permissions associated with team management and functionality review this VIDEO[RN1] . While pricing isn’t CONFIRMED online by CINC themselves it is estimated the cost per user ranges between $15-$35 dollars making the overall cost for medium and large teams fairly low for a CRM/Lead Management systems with CINC functionality. This is the sweet spot for the CINC system. Teams of 15-5000 get a great value on the CRM side and management gets efficient though not revolutionary lead routing capabilities. Most of time to get top value on the team side you will need strong management, willing team members and ancillary services such as transaction managers , ISA’s and proactive lender partners.

YLOPO uses follow up boss as their primary CRM. It has slightly fewer built in features on the team side and slightly more visibility on the customer search side. It’s a BETTER cost investment for teams 2-25 persons. At the 25-5000 range it’s more expensive. Follow Up Boss is the hands down leader in integrating and tracking MULTIPLE lead sources. They are FAR superior in this category than any other CRM. Commissions Inc can and does limit information transfer from other vendors making their system a one-size fits all. With the Follow Up boss integration you have ALMOST as much lead visibility but you can have it from over 200+ sources making this a diverse and expandable solution that might in the long run be a much better investment for certain large teams tired of trying to track 3-10 CRMS or lead sources in separate places.

[RN1]This is MY video because it’s hands down the most complete deep dive that I know of into the actual Commissions Inc system. Feel free to replace the link.

Summary: Which is Better?

Obviously, this is only ONE point of view. To summarize if human resource management is the NUMBER ONE priority then CINC is likely a better system. If lead generation and marketing to an existing database is the priority, then Ylopo is likely the better choice.

Ease of Use: Commissions Inc Vs Ylopo

CINC and Ylopo are both web-based interface systems. That means you goto web addresses and login to use each of these systems.

Commissions Inc Ease of Use

Commissions Inc has a single login portal. That is a much simpler LOGIN process than Ylopo. Leads dashboards and individual user screens are remarkably similar to other CRMS including follow up boss. The team, lender functionality that make this system what it is are not necessarily laid out intuitively. Once again if you want to see a page by page walk through watch this VIDEO. Most users review this system on the high side of “complex” thus training and additional learning are a requirement. This training is widley available through classes that are hosted by CINC and it’s partners. Most require an additional fee to attend.

Ylopo Ease of Use

Ylopo has three main logins. That is a more complicated LOGIN process than Commissions Inc. Each leads to a portal that is FAR simpler to understand than Commissions Inc. Follow Up Boss on the CRM side has a 1-3 minute video INSIDE the system so learning the system for someone familiar with CRMS might take a few hours instead of days or months. For the additional tools that Ylopo provides there is the Ylopo success community. Ylopo has partnered with Ylopo success agents which are realtors and brokers that continuously publish videos, live streams and other content showing how they are generating their own results. This community is singular in the real estate marketing industry and while it may feel overwhelming due to the sheer volume of support and advice just about any question or concern that can be asked will be addressed not by a customer service agent but an actual client of Ylopo using their services.

Integrations: Ylopo Vs CINC

When it comes to integrations with other lead providers or services there is no comparison. Commissions Inc doesn’t even have any easy to access information on integrations. That’s because they evaluate on a case by case basis and provide access on a sliding scale based on their own internal decision-making process. This makes the process complicated and uncertain. Ylopo integrates with anyone that’s willing to work with them and the list is already incredibly deep and includes pretty much every popular CRM in the real estate vertical.

On the CRM side Ylopo partners with Follow Up Boss. FUB has 200+ LISTED integrations. Follow Up Boss’s mission is to provide as much access to as many providers as possible because they DO NOT COMPETE on the lead generation or website production side of the real estate business. Not only do these systems get access they get two-way integration which means you can see cool stuff like search history directly in your Follow Up Boss dashboard from multiple sources. They are singular in their willingness to work with lead providers.

Lead Import: CINC Vs Ylopo

When it come to lead import from or to other providers once again there is no comparison. CINC’s rules in terms of what fields they will import and who they accept them from seems to be evaluated largely on a case by case basis. Ylopo partnered with FUB has the one of the most accepting lead import provisions of any real estate lead generation service.

Ylopo Lead Import

The Follow Up Boss integration allows for more fields to be imported than any other CRM. Sadly, not even they publish a full list of allowable fields. They DO have a pretty amazing and detailed post ABOUT importing that does address a lot of questions. In general, Ylopo is considerably more friendly on the lead import side whether that is from a CSV file or SYSTEM to SYSTEM integration.

During on-boarding all your leads from your CRM will be imported into Ylopo for automated remarketing.

Commissions Inc Lead Import

Case by case basis with no published set of guidelines suggesting what imports they accept. It IS safe to assume if you have a general CRM like Lion desk or Follow Up Boss that you can import a “standard” set of fields INTO Commissions Inc. As a matter of fact as long as you get your data into a .csv file it’s safe to assume you can import name address and telephone number. Anything else probably depends on the level of service you have signed up for. Larger organizations will get more workability in this area. If you are looking for a “provider to provider” transfer that’s where CINC becomes much harder to predict/work with. We know of many vendors they have chosen to integrate with but oftentimes with restrictions on the level of data transfer.

Commission Inc Online Reviews

The reviews about CINC are overwhelmingly positive with almost all the hundreds of reviews commenting on how they feel valued by this company. There are some individual complaints about customer service, complexity of the system and limited functionality for sellers leads. These comments are oftentimes at the tail end of a 5-star review since the system delivers as promised in most categories. Of course, there are comments about how expensive the system is but again those are at the tail end of 5-star reviews and go hand in hand with “you get what you pay for”. G2 is a good place to start deep user facing CINC reviews.

Ylopo Online Reviews

Ylopo is a new entrant to real estate marketing. While I know the IDEA of Ylopo has been around since 2013 trackable online breadcrumbs start in 2016 with my personal memory being, they propped up a business website in 2017. Market momentum has truly been gathering in 2018-2020. There are not a lot of online reviews available from consumers. Fortunately Ylopo has been VERY proactive in gathering case studies from clients of all sizes and types and adding them to their website. So that is what we will reference.

Now that you know the difference between Commissions Inc and Ylopo we hope you have an easier time deciding which of these marketing systems works better for you. If you need some more consultation the Ylopo sales team would be happy to address further questions.
