Frequently asked questions
When is the summit and how many days does it run for?
The summit is May 19th and 20th and runs for 2 full days from 9am - 5 pm. (See below for more detailed travel information)
Do you have more detailed event timing so I can book my travel plans?
Plan to arrive on 5/19 and depart 5/21. The venue will open at 8:30AM on 5/19 and 5/20 with kickoff at 9AM. Both days will end at 5PM. There will be a happy hour from 5PM - 7PM after the close of meetings on 5/19 and a closing party the night of 5/20.
Should I bring my whole team to this event?
Yes! Anyone who is using Ylopo or making business decisions at your company would find value in attending.
If I have a travel companion not attending the workshop can they accompany me to the Happy Hour
Unfortunately no. We built the happy hour menu for food and drinks to accommodate only the exact number of people who purchased tickets to the workshop. Luckily, the food at the happy hour is not a full dinner so you'll still have the remainder of the evening to enjoy with your travel companion.
Who from Ylopo can I expect to meet onsite?
Ylopo co-founders, Howard Tager and Juefeng Ge, will be onsite as well as our two head Realtors In Residence, Barry Jenkins and Gabe Cordova. We will also have experts from our Client Success, Marketing, and Training teams there, plus some additional conversion and systems specialists.
What is the refund policy if I need to cancel my ticket?
If cancelled prior to May 5th (2 weeks before the event) your ticket is fully refundable minus the fees paid to Eventbrite. If you need to cancel within 2 weeks your ticket is no longer refundable. You would still have the option to transfer (resell) your ticket to another interested party.
If I have an Eventbrite credit to use from a past Ylopo-hosted event can that to this ticket?
Yes! If you cancelled a ticket for a past Ylopo event and have an Eventbrite credit number, you may apply it towards your ticket price directly during check out. If you know you have a credit for a cancelled ticket but don't have your credit number handy, email msiesky@ylopo.com for assistance.
What airport should I fly into?
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the closest airport to the venue (about a 15-20 minute car ride).
Do you have a hotel room block or can you make any recommendations for accommodations?
Please book accommodations early! There are a variety of hotels and AirBnB's near the venue so you can have your pick of accommodation that is most comfortable for you. Please check out our hotel recommendations on this page. We do not yet have a room block in place. More to come.
What does the 2 hour happy hour include?
The happy hour following the close of the workshop on 5/19 will take place at the same venue we're holding the daily sessions and will include a full open bar (spirits, wine, and beer) and heavy appetizers. We encourage everyone to come, socialize, meet the trainers and the Ylopo & MaverickRE teams.
Is there an evening event on May 20th?
Yes! There will be a closing party after Summit. The event location and details are forthcoming.
